Red colour with great depth. Bouquet displaying blackcurrant & blackberries, mint with hints of vanilla and dried autumn leaf. A full-bodied wine with cigar box flavours and powerful red berry fruit characters.
Tasting Notes
The Cabernet Sauvignon for Grant Burge’s flagship Shadrach is sourced from Barossa vineyards where the conditions are perfect for growing super-premium Cabernet Sauvignon with great finesse, intensity and structure. The fruit for the 2013 Shadrach is sourced from the Corryton Park vineyard, high in the cool-climate Eden Valley in the Barossa Ranges and blended seamlessly with fruit from the Barossa Valley floor with its concentrated rich fruit flavours.

James Halliday -Halliday Wine Companion 2021
'Identical vinification to the '12, even though the vintage wasn't up to the Olympian heights of '12. As it is, blackberry fruit provides the core of the palate, new oak a significant support, along with the expected oak and tannins."
