Grant Burge Icon wines are named in honour of Meshach Burge, and the biblical origins of his name. The great grandfather of founder Grant Burge, he made the Barossa Valley home in 1855, beginning an enduring family winemaking tradition.
Tasting Notes
Bouquet: Dark chocolate, black forest cake, cherry, liquorice, hints of ripe plum. Palate: A full bodied, textured, richly flavoured palate that offers plenty of dark chocolate and ripe red cherry flavours with hints of spice and earth. Fine firm tannins, finishing with fruit sweetness that provides length of flavour, and delivers genuine persistence.
